So my new favourite show I discovered while browsing through YouTube on a miserable Sunday afternoon is the one and only "Community" While listening to the music of "Donald Glover" aka "Childish Gambino" the recommended pages lead me to a 30 second clip from the show in which Donald Glover (The black guy) stars.

What The Frack Is...COMMUNITY?

Community is a show based around 7 characters a group of misfits brought together by a Spanish class which they all share, Which is taught ironically by a Chinese man played by comedian "Ken Jeong" (The hilarious Asian guy from the "Hangover" movies) who brings all that humour to this show.
The self proclaimed misfits from left to right include...

Abed - (my favourite character) he is weird and wonderful who refers to life situations by comparing them to movies and tv shows.

Britta - an atheist human rights activist who wants the world to be a better place that the group find so overbearing.

Jeff - an ex lawyer who was fired from his job, who cares solely about his hair and his abs, the father of the group who restores order when it gets out of control.

Shirley - a devote Christian mother of two who caught her husband having an affair that always looks on the brighter side of life with a stereotypical sassy black woman attitude.

Annie - the smarty ass of the group that was destined for greatness but due to her drug abuse and time in rehab was unable to get into a good college also the most likely to be taken advantage of.

Troy - an ex jock who spends most of his time being emotional with no clue what goes on around him and best friend to Abed

Pierce - an old man (played by Chevy Chase from the "National Lampoon" franchise) who doesn't understand how out of touch he is with society, making fun of peoples races and ethnicities. He still thinks Troy is Shirley's son because their both black.

I can admit the Pilot for the show  wasn't the best but but believe me when I say stay with it because it only gets better I promise. "The Paintball episode" has to be one of the many highlights for the first season among many others. I am so hooked on this show that I've been watching episodes continuously back to back to catch up to the 3rd season it's currently in. If you like shows such as "30 Rock", "Parks and Rec" or "The Big Bang Theory" you will love this.

With the witty and clever humour combined with some great slapstick moments "Community" is an underdog show, DEFINITELY ONE TO WATCH and take notice of.
