R I N G E R
So with my usual line of shows coming and going I thought it was time to explore into new territories. While exploring the Sky TV guide I came across this new show "Ringer" I was a little apprehensive about it at first considering I discovered it was being shown on Living. You know that channel that's predominantly watched by women. So I thought *Fudge It*, but I guess what drew me to watch it was the leading lady none other than "Sarah Michelle Gellar" aka 90's - 2000's favourite heroine "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" (Shes never going to escape that title)
I must say its nice to have Sarah Michelle Gellar back on TV I did miss her and after watching the first episode I was pleasantly surprised. Without giving too much away, the show Is about two twin sisters (Bridget & Siobhan) in which SMG (Sarah Michelle Gellar) plays both parts. One is ex drug addict (Bridget) who is on the run from the police as she witnessed a murder and doesn't want to testify in court while the other (Siobhan) lives the life of luxury married to a very wealthy man with a teenage step daughter which both have no idea that Siobhan has a twin. She runs to her sister for help but in the process of this Siobhan kills herself. So to hide from the police and the people who are trying to kill her Bridget assumes Siobhan's identity but then discovers Siobhan's life isn't as perfect as it looked from the outside, if anything it's much worse.
This show has so many twist and turns, when you think it's all going well another hurdle gets in the way. Covering murders, explaining disappearances and trying to pretend to be someone else when you have no idea of what that person is like make this show really interesting to watch.
However from a marketing perspective this show should never have been picked up by Living as that channel is only viewed by a high majority of women. Maybe Sky1 or FX would have been a better choice for cable TV or Channel 5 for terrestrial TV.
Catch "Ringer" on Living for UK viewers and on the CW network for US viewers
or online somewhere if you got fired from your job
and therefore you cant pay your cable bill

You should try 'Revenge', 'In Plain Sight' or 'Breakout Kings'. In my opinion they are better than 'Ringer'...
