I'm not sure if you may have got to seen the spectacle that was the top trending topic on Twitter yesterday night "My Big Fat Fetish" shown on Channel 4 but It was definitely interesting to watch as it showed the lives of big women who make a living from being big.
Now I must say that I admire each and every one of these women as they are so confident and comfortable with themselves and their body weight in such a size concious world that we live in but a line has to be drawn somewhere in terms of health issues. It cannot be OK for them to be this size. One of the girls explained the concept of the feeding and the feeder where the feeder gains sexual pleasure from feeding another person and watching the person put on weight where the person being fed experiences sexual pleasure from being fed and their stomach being full. (It was pretty uncomfortable and disturbing to watch) The Goddess Patty makes her money from sitting on men who enjoy this as a sexual fetish. She weighs over 40 stone and men pay $600 to have "The Goddess" sit on them. (I don't get it either)
Other big girls make their money online through websites taking pictures and it followed the journey of a girl from Leeds who flew out to Florida to start career in BBW (Big Beautiful Women) which pleases their viewers with pictures and videos of themselves naked for their audience. This was viewed as the Playboy for big girls. I don't see the fantasy in this but to each is own and I guess that's the whole idea of it being a fetish.
I couldn't help but think to myself that was this just a front could someone really be that happy being that big all the time, not being able at times to physically help yourself, which was later echoed by Patty at the end of the episode who explained the regret she had for getting so big not being able to paint her own nails and having to be dependent on her son.
