COMMUNITY

NOW SEASON 4 REALLY BEGINS...

Last nights episode of Community for me was the beginning of Season 4. I'm a very big fan of Community. I love it's witty humour and it's sly jokes that you probably will miss the first time watching but will certainly get a kick out of the next few times you watch. The first few episodes of this season have been OK with a few moments of laughter but episode 6 titled "Advanced Documentary Filmaking" brought it all back to what I first fell in love with about the show.

It was great to have Chang back and this episode had some really great moments. From Pierce's not so subtle racism painting his hand yellow and one hand brown to create a Mexican and Chinese hand puppet. This show really knows how to push the envelope with comedy and I wonder at times how they get away with it. But it isn't an episode of Community without Britta, "Britta-ing" a moment. As Abed makes a documentary about "Changnesia" and Britta gets hold of the camera we know something is bound to go wrong.

Throughout the episode we are left wondering whether Chang is actually suffering from Changnesia and Jeff's pessimism wont allow himself to believe that this condition is real. He goes out of his way to prove Chang is making this all up. But it seems after all Chang was telling the truth or was he...

*SPOILER*
The episode ended with Chang walking down the college corridor and making a phone call to an anonymous person saying "They finally bought it. Hook, line and WINGER" (one of his many terrible puns on Jeff's surname)  "Awaiting your further instructions. CHANG OUT!" followed by the evil mastermind laugh "MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!"

So who is this mystery person Chang is working with?
Will we see a familiar face from the past?
What outfit will the Dean where next week?
I can't wait to see what happens next.

Catch "COMMUNITY" Thursdays on NBC

or online somewhere if you don't have that channel.
